Maya Caskie is a composer and singer-songwriter by night, and a ballet class pianist by day.

 

In 2024, Maya was commissioned to compose an original double-act ballet score for the Japanese ballet company Studio Bontemps’ original production of “Peter Pan”, which premiered in November 2024.

 

In 2020, she spent her lockdown months creating and publishing an illustrated children’s book of piano pieces, “Maya’s Mountain” 「まやの山」.

 

She writes folk-classical songs filled with whimsy and campfire, which she has performed across prestigious London venues (Vortex Jazz Club, Pizza Express Jazz Club, Milton Court Concert Hall, Green Note). Her upcoming album for vocal quartet and guitar "with simple words, she filled my sails." will be released in Autumn 2025.
