Maya Caskie is a composer, arranger and singer-songwriter by night, and a ballet class pianist by day.

 

In 2024, she was commissioned to compose an original double-act ballet score for the Japanese ballet company Studio Bontemps’ original production of “Peter Pan”, which premiered in November 2024 at the Nishinomiya Cultural Arts' Center.

 

In 2020, she spent her lockdown months creating and publishing an illustrated children’s book of piano pieces, “Maya’s Mountain” 「まやの山」.

 

Her upcoming album of songs for vocal quartet and guitar "with simple words, she filled my sails." will be released in Autumn 2025.
